Cooling Temps Monday through Friday; Showers Expected

Published: 11.5.17 9:44am

Good Morning Folks! We’ll experience passing clouds, light showers and at times, moderate rainfall, over the next 3 – 4 days. By the end of next week we should dry out with temps dipping to below normal levels, perhaps even cold enough for Cat to fire up the snowguns sometime Friday or Saturday night (although, the long range is not conducive for the snow to linger). Temps today will reach the upper 50’s – low 70’s across the region but cool down to the mid 40’s – mid 50’s by week’s end. Rainfall totals through Thursday will be light, perhaps under an inch when it’s all said and done, but we’ll take it as it helps to keep temps cooler. All in all, the next 5 – 7 days is pretty typical for early November as we go through swings of warm and cold, mixed with a few rounds of showers.

Temps today will gradually wind down from the upper 50’s – low 70’s to the upper 40’s – upper 50’s by the middle of the week, cooling off even further to the mid 40’s – mid 50’s by Friday. Shower coverage will peak early Tuesday morning, late Tuesday afternoon and then again Wednesday morning. There may be another round of showers Thursday but we are uncertain this far out in time. If you need to work on the yard or need a period of dry weather, it might have to wait till late in the week and next weekend. Tomorrow may afford you a window as only isolated showers are expected, but lower humidity levels will arrive next weekend.

Overall, pleasant considering its early November as we experience passing clouds, light showers and a gradual cooling down throughout the upcoming work and school week. ENJOY!
