Good Morning Folks! High clouds are situated overhead this morning and this has led to morning lows roughly 8 – 10 degrees warmer than forecasted, more so across the valley floor as they sit in the upper 40’s (upper 30’s forecasted). Clouds and sunshine will dance back and forth through the day, with isolated showers developing later on this afternoon and evening. Isolated showers linger across the region tomorrow, with much heavier and more widespread coverage arriving late Saturday night, extending into Sunday morning. Although the bulk of the action will be over by the late morning hours Sunday, we still expect lingering showers to last into the late afternoon hours. Monday brings us passing clouds in between two events, as we expect another disturbance to arrive late Monday night. This second round of rain will exit by the afternoon hours Tuesday and this will setup next Wednesday with sunny skies and much warmer temps. Speaking of temps, today through the middle – late part of next week will feature above average temps, with overnight lows in particular sitting roughly 12 – 18 degrees above average for this time of year (normal high for the valley is in the mid 60’s, low in the mid 30’s).
Passing clouds this morning will give way to some sunshine this afternoon, but this could easily switch back to partly sunny skies as moisture streams into the region from the south. Isolated showers are likely to develop along the escarpment closer to sunset but for... click here for more
